As some of you might know, my name is Marissa and I live here in this megalomaniac city called Jakarta. And some of you might wonder, what is or will this blog be about? It will be about all of us!
Every day we grow in this city as individuals and grow with its pace. Fast tracking as some might call it. But sometimes, certain essential little things might get forgotten. Ever got angry because people are not on time? Ever got confused which fork goes with which dish? Or wonder why everyone behaves like they do?
The change starts from ourselves. And this is why I am writing this blog - Etiquette and social manners. Things that seem so small to us have been forgotten in the pace of the 21st century. But should not be. Because in the end of it all, it makes a better YOU.
This blog will feature topics on how to talk, dress and be proper in certain ways but also how we can compose ourselves in certain situations. Lots of useful tips I can share since living the high road from starting at the very very low end of society. Most of all, how people see us is a reflection of what we choose to be.
